Countries Kenyans can go without the need for a Visa
Kenyans received the good news of entering South Africa with just a passport without the need for a visa.
This step was reached after the two countries signed a cooperation agreement to facilitate trade and cooperation between Kenya and South Africa.
President William Ruto on Wednesday said that they agreed with South African President Cyril Ramaphosa after extensive consultations.
"From January 1, 2023, we will have a different procedure. Kenyans with passports will be allowed to enter South Africa without a visa for up to 90 days a year," Ruto said.
Reports have emerged that about 30 million Kenyans have applied to participate in the lottery to win a Green Card to live in America, with it being noted that many Kenyans would now prefer to at least visit other countries.
But do you know that there are several countries outside of the African continent where as a Kenyan you do not need a visa to visit those countries.
Those countries are Antigua & Barbuda (1 month), Bahamas (3 months), Cuba (90 days), Dominica (21 days), Haiti (3 months), Panama (180 days), Saint Vincent & Grenadines (30 days).
Others where you will live permanently without a visa are Barbados, Grenada, Jamaica, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Trinidad and Tobago, British Virgin Islands, Cayman Islands and Montserrat.
In Asia there are also countries where Kenyans are allowed to enter without a visa; Malaysia (30 days), Philippines (30 days), Singapore (30 days) and Hong Kong (90 days).
