I'll not respond to pettiness - Justina tells off Roots party
The conflict of authoritarianism in the Roots party is taking different turns every day, while it is now clear that the leader of the party, the learned lawyer George Wajackoyah and the former co-candidate in the general election of August 9, Justina Wamae are no longer eating from the same plate. .
Yesterday, the leadership of the party wrote a letter of complaint to Wamae because they argued that the co-candidate several times in social networks and also in the media has been making statements that conflict with the principles of the party and therefore asked her to appear before the disciplinary committee of party to defend herself against those accusations.
The letter was lamenting that Wamae congratulated president-elect William Ruto and his deputy Rigathi Gachagua and without consulting with the leadership of her party who were competitors in the presidential race that ended two weeks ago.
They said that Wamae's statements are inconsistent with the party's traditions and may be taken as party statements which tarnishes the image of the Roots party and that is the main reason for asking her to appear before the disciplinary committee to face questions against her character.
The letter also mentioned some of the things that have been handed over to Wamae in the two months that she has been a member, including housing and a travel car, an issue that Wamae also touched upon in her reply via Twitter.
Now Wamae, who is not completely calmed down by the wind of the Roots party, has spit fire while calling the letter asking him to appear before the disciplinary committee to be frivolous and swearing that he will never attend the meeting he was ordered to attend on August 26.
"I will not answer nonsense. But in the accommodation and the car that you think you have 'helped me' you can remove it from your DREAMS. It's your party, do what you see fit, I will continue to move forward as a soldier," Wamae replied through her Twitter page.
The conflict between the two started after Wamae accused Wajackoyah of secretly supporting the Azimio la Umoja candidate Raila Odinga while she threatened to throw herself behind William Ruto of Kenya Kwanza.
