"Napenda nyoka sana!" : Diamond Platnumz buys a snake pet!

WCB boss Naseeb Abdul Juma aka Diamond Platnumz has got himself a snake to keep at home.

In his announcement on Instagram, the musician noted that owning a pet snake has always been his dream.

The 32-year-old Bongo star introduced the snake as his new friend.

"Siku zote nimekuwa na shauku ya kuwa na nyoka wangu kama kipenzi ❤️🐍.. jameni kukutaneni na rafiki yangu mpya," he announced on Friday.

He attached the message to a video of himself playing with the sliding animal while a large group of people surrounded him.

In the video, Diamond was heard confessing his great love for snakes and expressing his happiness at finding one to keep at home

"Huyu mimi namfuga mnyama huyu nyumbani. Mimi napenda nyoka sana," he was heard saying.

The crowd watched curiously as he played with the snake with the help of a woman who was showing him how to handle it. He showed no fear and instead seemed very happy to hold it.

The world-renowned singer revealed that his snake will be known as Chichi.

Normally, snakes are not popular animals among many people. Many of these animals have venom that can cause death or serious illness once they bite a person.

Some African societies associate the animal with magic and therefore never want them around. Those who keep these animals are often considered to be involved in witchcraft.
