Moses Kuria Files Petition Against Raila

Former Gatundu Member of Parliament and leader of Chama Kazi Moses Kuria has moved to the Supreme Court to oppose the leader of Azimio La Umoja One Kenya Raila Odinga.

Odinga himself filed a petition on Monday seeking to challenge the results of the August 9 presidential election over concerns that the rule of law was not followed in the exercise which saw him lose to his main rival, William Ruto.

In his petition, Kuria, who is an ally of Ruto, accuses Odinga of using his party's chief agent, Saitabao Ole Kanchory, and others to cause violence at the national Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) vote tallying center in Bomas of Kenya in the city. Nairobi.

This, he says, happened on Monday, August 15, when IEBC Chairman Wafula Chebukati was expected to announce the results of the presidential election.

While naming Odinga and Azimio's coalition party as the first and second respondents respectively, Kuria accuses their agents of beating Mr. Chebukati.

"Raila Odinga through his agent Chief Kanchory and others caused violence at the Bomas of Kenya Polling Station, physically attacked the National Electoral Officer and other commissioners and even pulled out a gun.

Raila will be removed from the Supreme Court Petition because he does not come with clean hands. Let justice flow like a great stream."
