Official! Casemiro to join the Red Devils

Manchester United club has reached an agreement with Real Madrid regarding the transfer of midfielder Carlos Henrique Casemiro.

In a statement released on Friday evening, United announced that the 30-year-old Brazil international will officially join them after agreeing personal terms.

"We look forward to welcoming Casemiro to Old Trafford," a statement published on United's official website read.

Casemiro is reported to cost the Red Devils 60 million Euros and 10 million Euros in additions.

He has agreed to sign a four-year contract until 2027 and is set to travel to Manchester this weekend for a medical.

Real Madrid has already said goodbye to the midfielder and celebrated the success he had since joining them in January 2013.

"Real Madrid would like to express its sincere thanks to Casemiro, who is part of the history of this club," the Spanish giants said in a statement.

The club also announced that Casemiro's official farewell ceremony will take place on Monday, after which he will address the press.

"Real Madrid is his home and will always be, and we wish him and his family all the best in this new chapter of his life."

This signing has come as the Red Devils are set to play Liverpool on Monday. The club will hope that the talented midfielder will be able to take part in the tough match that will be played at Old Trafford.
